The only constant of the Jean Paul Gaultier label is eclecticism with bold allure and the label's signature was more than obvious in the new haute couture collection. What better way to embrace stereotypes than to take them to a whole new level? The designer's love for big wild cats could not be doubted: the chosen soundtrack for the Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2013 couture show was 'Pink Panter' and heavy animal prints were the focus of the show's first 15 looks.

The designer didn't stop at feline-inspired looks. To do so would have been a poor representation of his seemingly limitless creative potential. He played with royal blues, gold, hot pinks, and plum tones, conical shapes and exaggerated proportions.

CLOT x SSUR 2013 Spring/Summer “CHANNEL ZERO” Pink Collection

Following New York-based SSUR’s Hong Kong takeover with the installation of the GUTTER STORE last week, the duo align yet again for a special “CHANNEL ZERO” Pink Collection. Off the strength of colorway adaptations of SSUR The Cut’s COMME des FUCKDOWN in red, GUTTER STORE is set to host the special Pink Collection as a Valentine’s Day edition. In total, the collection will be comprised of a beanie, hoodie, snapback hat, iPhone case, as well as a trio of T-Shirt colorways. The range builds on the CHANNEL ZERO motif with a flipped colorway that is decidedly Valentine’s Day centric. The collection will release on February 13, 2013, through the GUTTER STORE at the JUICE Tsim Sha Tsui location in Hong Kong. Otherwise, the GUTTER STORE will be open through March 3, 2013 with the more comprehensive CLOT x SSUR product assortment.
